1. Physical processing (pretreatment)

• Crushing and dehydration: First, the food waste is crushed, and then most of the moisture is removed through mechanical compression. This step is a key pretreatment process for waste reduction.

• Drying and dehydration: After physical dehydration, the waste is baked at high temperature (usually above 100°C) to further evaporate the moisture, so that the moisture content of the final product is reduced to below 15%, thereby achieving significant weight and volume reduction.

• Bio-drying: After extrusion and dehydration, heat-resistant microbial agents are added, and fermentation is carried out for a short time (10-24 hours) at a high temperature of 60-85℃ to further reduce the moisture content and partially degrade organic matter.

1. High efficiency in waste reduction: The waste reduction rate at the source can typically reach 70% to 85%, which can significantly reduce the storage volume of waste and subsequent transportation costs.

2. Oil-water separation: The process achieves three-phase separation of oil, water, and residue. The separated waste oil can be recycled for biodiesel production, and the wastewater is treated to meet discharge standards, thus avoiding environmental pollution.

3. Harmless treatment: The entire process is carried out in a closed system, effectively killing harmful bacteria through high temperature and other processes, and equipped with a deodorization system to prevent the spread of odors and secondary pollution.

4. Easy to operate: The equipment is usually compact and highly automated, and can be started and stopped with one button and run fully automatically without the need for special personnel to supervise it.

5. Resource potential: The organic solid residue generated after the reduction treatment can be further processed into bio-compound fertilizer or organic matrix for landscaping, turning waste into treasure.
